Sending Us Your Files With Internet Explorer 7

Internet Explorer 7 FTP view has changed. Folder View no longer exists in Internet Explorer. You will need to follow the following steps to view the site in folder view.

When you attempt to access it by enterting ftp.holleysprinting.net, IE7 will try to display the FTP site in an HTML view.

Once you are able to view the FTP in HTML view, you will need to access it via Windows Explorer using the Page menu item available in IE7. Click on Page Menu and then Open FTP in Windows Explorer. (This option is not available under Page Menu until the ftp address has been entered!)

For the PC (Explorer 6)
or Mac
You will be asked to login.
Enter the username: hpiupload
and password: 987abc
You should then be logged into your main directory in folder view.
If you already have a folder in the directory, you can go ahead and copy and paste images to the appropriate folder.
If you don't have a folder, you will need to create one and name it your company name. You can simply drag and drop your files from your desktop folder to your named folder or copy from your desktop folder to your named folder in the Explorer Window. A status indicator may pop-up and display the progress of the transfer depending on the speed of your connection. For smaller files/folders, it may merely flash across the screen.

NOTE: Existing files/folders must not be overwritten! If there is a file/folder that has the same name as the one being sent the user MUST rename the file first and then transfer it.

Upon successful transfer, you can scroll through the file listing to verify your file and or folder was sent successfully. Once you see your files/folders in the uploads directory, the file transfer is complete. At this time, send an
e-mail to
art@holleysprinting.com to notify the graphics department that you have placed data on the server.
